TVS to launch Spectacular Cruiser Bike Zepellin 212cc, Will compete with Royal Enfield Thunderbird

Now TVS Motor is all set to challange Royal Enfield in India. Reportedly, TVS is getting ready to launch its Spectacular Cruiser Bike Zepellin 212cc in India. TVS had showcased this bike in Auto Expo, the previous year. Now the furnished version of this bike is ready to hit the Indian market.

According to reports, the TVS Zepellin 212cc bike is powered by a liquid cool four stroke engine which churns out 20 BHP power. Similarly to meet the new Emission standard, the Cruiser will run on a BS6 Engine. Also, fuel injection technology will be used to reduce pollution in it.

The bike is supposed to cost around 1.2 lakh in India. In the segment, the Bajaj Avenger is being sold in 150cc and 220cc variants while the Royal Enfield Thunderbird is sold in 350cc and 500cc variants. In terms of body parts, the TVS Zepellin 212cc packs LED Headlamps, Upside Down Front Forks, Spotted Wheels, Dual Channel ABS, disc brakes, and start-stop systems in both the wheels.

At the same time to keep its price less, many of its body parts such as Switch gears, footpages and instrument clusters are taken from Apache 200. This will be costliest bike from TVS after Apache 310. The Apache 310 is worth two lakhs and its design is inspired by the BMW G310 Twins.
