Procedure to Update Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 with ICS 4.0.3 based AOKP Custom Firmware
- First make sure you are going for right model. To check tap on settings>about tablet > model number and it should be mentioned P3110. If not then don’t try it otherwise it will brick your device and you have to update it with stock ROM through Odin.
- Then download both the files in the computer from above link. Do not extract the file and let it be like the way it has been downloaded. These files must be saved in the root of the memory. So connect the device to computer via USB cable and save it in root and not in any sub folder.
- Now unplug the cable and switch off the device to take the device to recovery mode. For that you have to press the VOLUME ROCKER+ POWERBUTTON all together and hold it for 3 seconds. then release the fingers.In the recovery mode select the option install zip from sd card and choose zip from sd card.
