The Hyundai Creta Facelift is all set to hit the Indian roads. The car is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2024. Here goes the details.

Good news folks! Your wait is over. Hyundai Motors is ready to roll the facelift version of its most popular mid-sized SUV, the Creta, in the first quarter of 2024. The second generation model is about to witness the first major overhaul since launch, back in March 2020. Worth mentioning, the Creta has been one of the most selling cars in the market and has consistently outperformed competitors in the mid-sized SUV segment.

Since first launch in 2015, Hyundai has sold more than 9 lakh units of the car in the Indian market and the 2024 model is assumed to carry this legacy forward with a plethora of new updates, all aimed to sustain its supremacy on Indian roads. According to Spy Shots, the 2024 Hyundai Creta will boast a redesigned front end, an all new grille inspired by the Hyundai Tucson, together with enhanced LED headlamps and an updated bumper. Beside, the alloys have got a brand new makeover and the rear end brags fresh LED taillamps and a redefined bumper.

In terms of engine, the Creta Facelift is assumed to get engine options equivalent to the Kia Seltos which include a 1.5-liter Turbo-GDi petrol engine churning out 160PS/253Nm, a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine delivering 115PS/144Nm, and a 1.5-liter CRDi VGT diesel engine generating 116PS/250Nm. Apart, the customers can expect a 6-speed manual transmission, 6-speed intelligent manual transmission, 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, 6-speed automatic transmission and intelligent variable transmission in the car.

Though nothing has official, but the 2024 Creta is expected to quote a higher price tag in comparison to the existing model that is priced Rs 10.87 lakh and Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The Creta Facelift is expected to give a tough competition to Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun in its segment.
