The wait is over! Finally, Force Motors has launched its iconic off-road adventure lifestyle SUV Gurkha at Rs. 13.59 lakhs. The SUV that comes with chic look and dynamic features can be booked at just Rs.25,000. The company has announced to start selling of the SUV from October 15. The New Generation Gurkha SUV will compete with Mahindra Thar in Indian market.
Its Price in comparison to Thar
Base model of the Mahindra Thar, AX 4-Seater Convertible Petrol Manual Variant SUV is priced at Rs 12.78 lakh (ex-showroom), whilst the top specs hard top diesel automatic variant is priced at Rs 15.08 lakhs. This SUV is filled with modern specs and features that makes it unique in its genre.
On the other hand, in comparison to its previous model, the second generation of Gurkha SUV has been launched into the market in large scale with face-lift. The new Gurkha has now become a more adventurous and lifestyle SUV which includes lot many comfort features and specs. This helps it to directly compete to Mahindra SUV in India.
Color Variants
The company has landed its new 2021 Force Gurkha with a more rough and tough style, updated interiors and BS6 diesel engine. Apart, this SUV will be made available in five colour variants i.e. white, grey, green, orange and red.
Dynamic Engine
The 2021 Force Gurkha BS6 SUV is powered by a 2.6 litre Diesel Engine which can generate 89 bhp power and 250 nm turk between 1400 rmp to 2400 rpm. Besides, the engine is mated to a five-speed Mercedes G-28 gearbox which further includes a hydraulically actuated clutch and cable shift. It also comes with AWD (all-wheel-drive) system and low-range transfer case with front and rear locking differentials.
Suspension and Tyre
To inspire adventure lovers, the SUV supports an All Wheel Driving system. Among the most highlighted features, the Independent Front Suspension and Rigid Axle at the rear are others. The SUV being a strong off-roader and its tyres 4×4 system supported, it can rush through any rough countryside. The company has equipped the car with double hydraulic spring coil suspension and 16-inch tubeless tyres which look like the tyres of a big car.
Interior and Features
Now coming to the features, the 2021 Force Gurkha supports a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay support, Android connectivity and navigation. Apart, it has many additional features like a tilt and adjustable steering column, power windows, central locking, rear parking, tire pressure monitoring, corner lamps, speed sensing door lock, rear door with wipers and new black interior.
Exterior
The 2021 Force Gurkha SUV comes with a revamped outlook that includes forward facing rear seats, more than 500-litres boot space, circular bi-LED headlamps, LED DRLs, a brand new front grille, new fog lamps, a clamshell bonnet, redesigned 16 inch alloy wheels, roof mounted luggage carrier, redesigned tail lamps and many more.
All these new additional features make the SUV look one of its kind and is assumed to compete the new generation Mahindra Thar in market.
