452 kilometer mileage supported Car launched in India, cost reduced by Rs. 1.58 lac

After the Central Government reduced the GST cost to 5 percent from 12 percent, the Electric car manufacturing companies have started reducing the price of their vehicles. After Tata Motors, now Hyundai Motor India has reduced the price of its first electric car Kona. While before the car was priced at Rs.25.30 lac, now after reduction in GST, it will cost Rs.23.72 lac. That means the customers can now directly save 1.58 lac on Hyundai Kona.

Hyundai Kona comes packed with 6-airbags, EBD with ABS, electronic stability control, hill assist, rear camera with guidelines and tire pressure monitoring system. Talking about the features, the Hyundai Kona might include the Bluelink connectivity. Bluelink is the same technology that has been included in the recently launched Hyundai Venue. Other features in the car will include automatic climate control, LED projector headlamps, DRLs, electric sunroof, rain sensing wipers and many more.

Hyundai Kona is power backed by a 32.9 kwh battery which helps to reach the speed of  0 to 100 kmph in just 9 seconds. Once charged fully, the new Kona electric SUV will run 452 km at the same charge. Mileage of the car has been certified by ARAI. Battery of the car is charged 80 percent in just 57 minutes, with the help of the DC fast charger. But if you use the AC Level 2 charger, for charging full it will take 6 hours and 10 minutes.
