This Bajaj Car runs 36 kilometer per liter, to be launched in India on 18 April

Finally, the wait is over and the country’s first quadricycle Bajaj Qute is all set to run on the Indian road. Yes, this car is to be launched in India on 18 April. It’s worth mentiong that Bajaj is manufacturing this car since a long time only for the export market. But now it’s ready for the Indian market. In physic it’s even small from the Tata Nano. Let’s take a look on the varied features of this forthcoming car.

The Bajaj Qute is powered by a 216 CC, Cingle Cylindered Twin spark Engine which is available in Mono Fuel version. This means, you can either purchase the Pterol variant or the CNG variant. This car will not pack both the options. While the petrol version will churn out 13 bhp power with 18.9 nm turk, the CNG variant will churn 16 nm turk with 10 bhp power. Besides, the car will pack a -speed gearbox.

In terms of price, petrol version of the car will be priced at Rs.2.64 lac and the CNG version will cost 2.84 lac (ex-showroom). This car will not have any diesel variant.

For the first time Bajaj had unveiled the Qute in the 2012 Auto Expo. After that the compay unveiled the production model in the 2016 Auto Expo. But due to some transport rules, it was not considered fit to run on the Indian roads. But in the year 2018, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways permitted to manufacture a new segment of cars with the name of Quadricycle after which Bajaj Qute was officially affiliated to run on Indian roads. In terms of the new rule, this car can be used for both personal and commercial purposes.
