Finally, Vodafone has brought its new long-term prepaid plan which will compete Airtel’s 998 prepaid pack. This plan offers 1 year validity with unlimited calling, 100 SMS and 12GB 3G/4G data per annum. But when compared to other long term validity plans that offer 1GB data per day, the offered data is very low. As we said, this plan will directly comete to Airtel’s Rs.998 plan as it offers equal benefits.
Vodafone at this time has lauched this plan only for Punjab circle and soon it’s expected to expand it to the other circles. At first this plan was spotted by Telecom Talk and further updates on its expansion is yet to come. The Rs.999 Vodafone prepaid plan offers unlimted voice call (both Home and Roaming), 100 SMS per day with 12GB 3G/4G data for a validity period of one year. However, this plan doesn’t include any aditional talk time benifits, but you can subscribe to Vodafone Play for free.
In comparison, the Airtel Rs.998 prepaid pack offers unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, 12GB 3G/4G data and Airtel TV Subscription. Validity of this Airtel plan is 336 days.
But if you are a Vodafone user and want to get suffcient mobile data, then you can opt for the Vodafone Rs.1699 prepaid recharge plan which is also valid for a year and provides 1GB 3G/4G data per day with unlimited voice calling and 100 per day SMS. This plan also offers unlimited access to Vodafone Play for a year. This plan in available in almost all Vodafone circles including Haryana, Kerala, Mumbai, and Punjab.
