Requirements
- OnePlus 7T
- PC
- Backup all personal data using any backup app from the store
- Download Android USB driver
- Install Android SDK and platform Tool on PC
- Unlock the OnePlus 7T bootloader
- Install TWRP recovery of OnePlus 7T
- Download DerpFest Android 11 Custom ROM
- Download Gapps flash it in recovery mode
- Download Magisk Manager
How to unlock the bootloader OnePlus 7T without using a PC
- Go to OnePlus Smartphone Settings
- There tap on About Phone in your Devices
- Now go to Software information, there Tap 7 times on the Build number (the information is shown how many times left to tap)
- You go back to the main setting page again and there Find the Developer Option in the settings
- Now open the Developer Option.
- Then turn on the toggle button OEM Unlock. And that’s it.
Install TWRP Recovery of OnePlus 7T
- First, download TWRP 3.3.1-5 and save it in your phone
- then switch off the phone and press the power button and vol down to enter in fastboot mode
- connect the device to the computer via USB cable
- in the folder where you have ADB go there and right-click + Shift >Open Powershell Window
- After the command prompt opens, type the following command to flash TWRP
fastboot flash recovery twrpname.img
6. again type to boot
fastboot boot twrpname.img
Procedure to install DerpFest Android 11 Custom ROM in OnePlus 7T
- In the TWRP recovery tap on Wipe and select System, Vendor, Data, Cache, and Dalvik Cache. Perform a right swipe to confirm the wipe
- Go back to the Home screen, tap Install, and select DerpFest ROM for your OnePlus 7T.
- When you are finished, return to the Home screen and tap Format data.
- Now go to Reboot and click Recovery. To root your device (optional), go to Install, select the magisk ZIP file, and swipe right.
- Finally, go to the Reboot section and press the System to start your device.
How to Update the DerpFest ROM
- Go to TWRP recovery and then go to Wipe->cache->Dalvik Cache
- Go back to Install and select the updated DerpFestROM file on your OnePlus 7T device. Swipe right to flash.
- If you now also want to root your device, go back to Reboot and select Recovery. After restarting TWRP, go to Install and select Magisk Zip File. Swipe right to flash on your device.
- Finally, head back to Reboot and select the System. Your device will now boot to the updated OS.
