Asus has launched the Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) and the MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) in India. The Asus Fonepad 7 features a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600 pixels) resolution IPS display that comes with anti-fingerprint coating and 178-degree wide viewing angle. The tablet has dimensions 110.6x196x7.9mm. It is being offered in Black and White colour variants. It packs Intel’s Atom Z2520 processor (1MB Cache, 2 cores, 4 threads, base frequency of 1.2GHz). The device features 2GB RAM and offeres 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card The Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) sports an 8-megapixel camera at the back and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The Asus Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) supporting device. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with ZenUI on top. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) was launched in partnership with KIDDI. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) features a 8 inch full-HD 1920×1200 IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.3 Ghz 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor. The tablet comes loaded with 2GB of RAM. It features inbuilt storage of 16GB, which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The tablet performs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box OS Asus ZenUI on top. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) sports a 5-megapixel rear shooter camera, there is also a 1.2-megapixel front camera. The Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia Z4 Tablet LTE is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 SoC coupled with Adreno 430 GPU. There is 3GB of RAM inside to offer superfast performance.
