Android 5.0 Lollipop being rolled for Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10 Handsets

Well, it’s Lollipop mania everywhere right now and as you know that every Android user is sitting with this hope that when the Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA update will hit their Android device. Right? Just a few days ago we had almost left hope of Any OTA update for Android 5.0 Lollipop. But interestingly. now it has started rolling out and will soon hit almost all device across the globe. Anyways, this pretty moment is for the Nexus users to rejoice since almost all Nexus device including Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10 has started receiving the Android 5.0 lollipop OTA update and this way their wait has come to an end after about a month.

Like all other OTAs, this update is also being rolled out in phases and might take little time to hit the software panel of your device. Anyways, you can also check availability of the firmware manually by visiting Settings=>About Device=>Software Update. In case the OTA is available there, tap on it to download and follow the instructions on your screen to flash it to your device. The whole act-pact of updating the newest firmware to your device is not confined to OTA only. We will also provide you with the OTA URL with the update tips that you can make use to go for a manual update in your device, so that no more you will wait for your turn to appear on a serial. But for the manual update, your Smartphone must run the official stock firmware, unless it’s impossible to flash the new firmware to your device.

There is also another way following which you can install the new firmware to your device and i.e. the factory image option. But it’s only applicable to device running a Custom ROM and the flashing requires a full wipe of your device.
