BSNL has announced a significant revision to its unlimited tariff STVs (Special Tariff Vouchers) for its 2G and 3G prepaid subscribers in Tamil Nadu & Chennai circle. The Special Tariff Vouchers that have been revised include Local onnet, Local/STD onnet, Local/STD onnet & offnet and Local/STD onnet Night packs. In addition, a new special tariff voucher of Rs.121/- has been introduced. And all the revised and the new special tariff vouchers are already in effect. The STVs priced at Rs.574/- and Rs.1494/- have been in effect just a day after the others. And according to the telco the said STVs are placed under Group I.
In addition, another STV priced at Rs.59/- has been revised. Earlier it was offering unlimited onnet Local/STD calls during nighttime (11 pm to 6 am) but now instead of unlimited users will get only 800 minutes of same tariff on the same condition. However, the validity of this special tariff voucher has also been extended to 30 days from 15 days. Here are the details.

Just for the record, the STV 59 comes under Group II and a new STV is also there, which is a new one. The newer one is priced at Rs.121/- and provides 1800 minutes of Local/STD Onnet Night Calls (From 11 pm to 6 am) with a validity period of 30 days.
