Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date for commencement for exams in 2021. As per the announcement, the Board exam for 10th and 12th class students will start from 4 May and will end on 10 June. Practical exams of the said classes will begin in March and the results will be declared on 15 July 2021.
The 10th and 12th class CBSE students were eagerly waiting for the announcement after the board in the beginning of this month announced that written exams will be held instead of online exams. Due to the delay in announcement of exam dates, many schools had started Online pre-board exams for the students.

Worth mentioning, the CBSE Board Exam usually commences in January every year with the written exams being held in February. But due to the COVID pandemic, the written exams for the first time will be held in May this year, with the practical exams in March.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, all schools were shut in March following lock-down. In October though many schools had started partially reopening schools, but many States in the country have so far kept schools closed because of the ongoing pandemic.
