How Google Nearby sharing works?

The new app allows users to share apps from Google Play with their neighbors via Android mobile phones without internet or Wi-Fi connection. To use the new features, users need to go to the Google Play Store with their Android phone, click their profile icon, and then select Manage apps on device. There the user should see a “Share” option next to two buttons – Send and Receive. Click the icon to highlight a list of applications from which users can select the applications to upload. Then they can click the Send button to open a list of nearby Android devices. The recipient of the application clicks “Receive” to appear on the sender’s device.

Users can click Send to send the program to someone, and if they receive the program, they can click “Receive”. When uploading applications, users can select multiple applications and upload them at once. Using this feature requires users to visit the Google Play store on their website, and then move it to the list of apps on the device for selection and publishing. We tested this send and receive apps in android feature on few smartphones with Android 11 and it worked well.
