Noble ROM is now available for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 devices. It has several features and so as few bugs which will get rectified very soon by the developer. User can flash the ROM on their device by following the guidelines bit by bit.
All thanks to xda developer @ridwan.sn and @bulldog74ts for bringing up the awesome Noble ROM for us. This Nobel ROM supports for SM-N96xF and FD models only. Others may wait until the development. The May security patch is available and is based on official OneUI 3.1 N10+ but the camera is from OneUI 2.5. However for better battery performance few tweaks has been implemented but is hardly debloated. The Game Dolby added and so as the night mode zoom on camera added. Other special features added to treat you with best ROM ever for your Galaxy Note 9.
Few bugs may crush your brain such as front live focus, blanked USB setting menu, jagged nonfunctional gallery link in camera and everything else looking fine.
Caution
If you are first time going through the ROM than select no debloat option to prevent issues with advanced debloat. Do forget to use TWRP 3.3.1.1 with this build where it may work or not. The data must be backup before installation. Make sure you have updated your modem and bootloader before installing this rom. Check that you don’t update aod apk otherwise you’ll get again the “aod charging bug. Well, also don’t update photo editor apk otherwise it will force close.
Pre-requirements
- Samsung Galaxy Note 9
- Computer
- You must have network with 4G connectivity on your PC or laptop what you are using to download files from here
- Original USB cable must be used or else the device will not get detected
- Battery power must be roughly 40% or more to stay away from automatic shut down
- Enable the USB Debugging by Settings > Applications > Development and tick the USB Debugging box. Afterwards untick the USB Debugging box for security grounds
- Back up all the personal data present in phone through backup apps
- Download Noble ROM 1.3
How to flash Noble ROM 1.3 OneUI 3.1 on Galaxy Note 9
CLEAN INSTALL
- Clean Install is always recommended, hence go for it. Also install the latest modem and bootloader.
- open TWRP by pressing volume up+ bixby + power buttons then go in wipe menu’ and press advanced wipe
- Then select system, vendor, data, cache, dalvik and Swipe to Wipe
- Now go back in TWRP menu’ and press INSTALL
- There select NOBLE ROM zip and swipe to confirm flash
- Follow AROMA instruction where select NO DEBLOAT and CLEAN INSTALL options
- You will see ‘NO OS INSTALLED’ A warning message that appears on screen when you try to reboot
- Do not reboot but flash the rom again
- After this REBOOT and enjoy NOBLE ROM on your Galaxy note 9
