HP has now has launched the new high-end version of the same 14-inch Chromebook model which was launched earlier. It is loaded with new features including a touchscreen .The Chrome OS-based laptop is available in Black and Silver colour variants with no availability details for its India launch. Last month, Google announced 1TB of cloud storage free of cost for new Chromebook buyers. Google announced that the 1TB subscription, which will be valid for two years, is worth $240. A Chromebook is a laptop running Chrome OS and is designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and data residing “in the cloud”. The Chrome OS is an operating system that uses the Linux kernel and the Google Chrome web browser with an integrated media player. Chromebooks are primarily sold both directly from Google and from the company’s retail partners.

The original 14-inch Chromebook 14 was launched earlier and it features a 14-inch HD (768×1366 pixel) resolution and without a touchscreen, it features Nvidia Tegra K1 processor, offers 16GB inbuilt storage. It comes loaded with 2GB of DDR3L RAM and Nvidia Kepler GPU .
HP has launched its latest Pavilion 11 x360 laptops in India at Google’s Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF).The laptops is Priced at Rs. 42,990. The HP Pavilion 11-n108TU x360 and Pavilion 11-n109TU x360 run Windows 8.1 (64-bit) and sport the same 11.6-inch HD LED-backlit touchscreen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The laptops has dimensions 30.8×21.5×2.19cm. They feature Beats Audio technology. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core M-5Y10c (4M cache, up to 2.00 GHz, 2 cores, 4 threads) coupled with 4GB of 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM. The laptop offers storage space of 500GB 5400rpm SATA hard drive.
