LG Launches Its First Curved Smartphone LG G Flex

LG G Flex

Before we had informed you that LG is soon going to launch its first ever Smartphone LG G Flex that would stand as a stern contender of Samsung Galaxy Round, the first curved Smartphone of the world. Interestingly, you don’t have to wait more to put hands on the device since it has already been unveiled, but only in Korea right now. But the device will soon touch the three other major local carriers by November Q1. However, LG has not announced any price for the Smartphone & the giant is in steady effort to make the device available in the other markets of the world.

Taking a look on the specification details of the device makes you overwhelming since it carries the best possible components of the current generation and perhaps will endow you with the best mobile experience ever. Starting from the screen, the device sports a 6 inch curved display with 720p resolution, though not much higher yet a good resolution for your eyes, is powered by a 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 (MSM 8974) processor, an Adreno 330 GPU & runs on the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

To offer you superior camera experience, the LG G Flex carries a 13MP rear camera (as you can guess how valiant a 13MP camera is!) and a 2.1 MP front camera. The device is quite handy since it weighs only 177gm & measures 7.9mm at thinnest and 8.7mm at thickest. For power back up, the device carries a 3,500mAh battery which will of course provide you a durable mobi experience.

Well, taking the LG G Flex in your hands we assure you that you will take hold of the largest ultra-light, ultra-thin and flexible Plastic OLED display (P-OLED) of the world. We not only say so. The Korean manufacturer itself keeps the demand. Besides, the display is powered by a curved OLED panel which is too made of plastic substrates rather than glass to safeguard your Smartphone from accidental hazards. And what more the Korean giant demands, the device will be all the more precise & brighter since it’s developed with the real RGB technology that extracts all three sub-pixels into one pixel. So, isn’t it a great cause to rejoice with the giant-rude device?

Before also we had told you that you will only witness a major difference between the LG G Flex & Samsung Galaxy Round i.e. the display shape. While the LG G Flex is curved from top-to-bottom, Samsung Galaxy Round is curved from side-to-side. But the curved design of LG is supposed to suit your pocket well & the Smartphone in landscape mode offers you an IMAX-type screening experience. That’s what we find the best part in the device.

Among other features, the device includes the LG’s KnockON, Guest Mode and Plug & Pop. For connectivity purposes, the device carries  LTE, LTE-A, HSPA+, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) and NFC. The device also includes a number of audio formats like MP3, or 24 bit/192kHz Hi-Fi. For the time, the device is  available only in Titan Silver. Now you guys wait the phone to hit your regions and don’t forget to share your hands-on experience with us.
