The wait is over! Xiaomi has finally unveiled the most awaited android handset in India. The handset is named as Xiaomi Redmi Note and the Smartphone has been launched in the eve of an launch event of the company in New Deli yesterday. The Redmi Note is going to be on sale from December 2 and will be made available at the commercial webpage of India’s largest electronics products carrier FlipKart. The handset is going to be made available in the Indian market in two segments. One is the original segment that will hit the users on December 1 and the other is the 4G variant of the Redmi Note which will go on floor on the second half of December.
The basic difference you will witness in both the versions of the Redmi Note is the Operating System. While the original Redmi Note will run the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the 4G variant will run on the Android’s newest 4.4 KitKat OS. Also you will find a little difference in the price range. While the former (Redmi Original) will cost you Rs.8,999, the later will cost the users Rs. 1000 more. For graphics, the Redmi Note supports the advanced Mali 450 GPU and supports dual SIMs. For memory reasons, the handset supports 2GB of RAM with 8GB internal memory and 32GB expandable storage space via a microSD card. For capturing photos, it brings a 13 megapixel rear camera and for imprisoning selfies it packs a 5 megapixel front camera.
