Honda launches all new CB Unicorn 160 in India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) have launched the all-new CB Unicorn 160. The all new Unicorn is priced at Rs 69,350 for the standard variant and the Combi-Brake System variant is priced at Rs 74,414 , ex-showroom Delhi. Honda claims the new Unicorn running all-new engine developed with Honda’s HET technology will offera fuel efficiency of 62kmpl. The new motorcycle will hit the showrooms from the third week of January.

 The new Honda CB Unicorn 160 is loaded the all-new carbureted and air-cooled 163cc engine with Honda’s HET technology. The engine delivers a maximum power of 14.5PS and the maximum torque offered by the engine is 14.61Nm at 6000rpm. The new Unicorn 160  has a simplerstyle and design . It is somewhat inspired from Honda CB Trigger. The bike sports a well sculpted muscular tank. The tank features the 3D Honda logo. There is digital instrument panel and finned side panels on the bike similar to the CB Trigger.

The Unicorn 160 comes with telescopic front forks and a monoshock rear suspension. For braking, the bike has a single 240mm disc at the front and adrum brake at the rear. On the rear, the new Unicron 160 features an all-new taillight and a small saree guard. The bike has a seat which provides comfort both both rider and the pillion as it is  broad aswell as flat singular one.

 Honda Motor is developing a new range of affordable motorcycles and scooters for Indian customers to gain market leadership. These are currently being developed at Honda’s Manesar-based Research & Development facility. These new range of low-cost vehicles are expected to hit the streets in two to three years.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd had launched its popular touring motorcycle – the Gold Wing – in India in the month of November. The Gold Wing is powered by a 6-cylinder 1832cc engine. The bike features lightweight and rigid twin-spar aluminium frame and single-sided Pro-Arm swing arm that provides stability, and neutral & responsive handling. It offers a luggage capacity of about 150-litres. The bike also features a 6-speaker 80W SRS surround-sound system. The bike sports five-position heated grips, independently adjustable heated seats and foot-warming system. For safety, the Gold Wing comesloaded  with Combined Braking System, Anti-lock Braking System and a fully-integrated airbag. The bike also sports a slow-speed, electric reverse system that enables easy overall manoeuvring in tight spaces and parking areas.
