Asus has launched its budget affordable 64-bit 4G LTE smartphone in China, called the Pegasus X002. TheAsus Pegasus X002 is priced at CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 8,000). The Pegasus X002 will be offered Black, White, Gold and Red colour variants.
It features a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6732 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The Asus handset offers 16GB of internal storage which, can be further expandable upto 64 GB via microSD.
Connectivity features of the Asus Pegasus X002 include GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP GPS/ A-GPS, 4G TD-LTE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct, and Micro-USB. The handset packs a 2500mAh Li-Ion battery inside. . The sensors in the handset include an accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensorThe Asus Pegasus X002 features an 8-megapixel camera on the back along with LED flash , there is a 5-megapixel front camera for making video calls and clicking selfies. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (4G+ 2G). Asus Pegasus X002 runs the Android 4.4 KitKat with Zen UI on top.

Last month, Asus has launched its PadFone mini smartphone-tablet hybrid in India priced at Rs. 15,999. The Padfone sports a 4-inch WVGA (480×800-pixel) IPS+ display. It is dual-SIM supporting device . The Asus PadFone mini comes with a tablet dock that is built around a 7-inch WXGA (1280×800-pixel) IPS+ display. The PadFone mini is powered by a dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor clocked at 1.6Ghz. It is loaded with 1GB of LPDDR2 RAM. The Asus PadFone mini offers 8GB of built-in storage which, is expandable upto 64GB via microSD card. It features an 8-megapixel’PixelMaster rear f/2.0 BSI camera and a 2-megapixel front-facingshooter. Connectivity features on the Asus Padfone mini include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/ EDGE, HSPA+, Bluetooth v4.0, and Micro-USB.
