Huewei launches ascend GX1 phablet in China

Huawei has rolled out its latest phablet, the Ascend GX1,. The Huawei Ascend GX1 is launched in China at a price of CNY 1590 (roughly Rs. 16,000). The new phablet from Huawei features dual-SIM support. The impressive thing about the Ascend GX1 is that it sports a big 6-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with minimalistic bezels. The company claims that the screen-to-body ratio of 80.5 percent. The Huawei Ascend GX1 has got dimensions 161×84.5×9.2mm and it weighs 173 grams.

The Ascend GX1 is powered by a 64-bit 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor. The device features 1GB of RAM. The phablet offers 8GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. Talking about camera features, it sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. There is nothing big for the selfie lovers as it has  2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Huawei Ascend GX1 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

Speaking on the connectivity options, the Ascend GX1 includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, NFC,  and GPS/ A-GPS. The handset packs a 3500mAh battery inside. The battery is credited to deliver a dual-SIM standby time of up to 198 hours.

Currently, the Huawei Ascend GX1 is being offered for purchase only in White color via company’s online store. There are no reports on whether Huawei will release this new phablet  to other regions.

Nokia N1 Android tablet to be launched on Jan 7 in China

Huawei had launched its Honor T1 tablet earlier. The tablet is priced at Rs 9,999. The Huawei Honor T1 tablet runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI 1.6 skinned on top. It sports an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and offers 188 ppi density. Huawei Honor T1 has dimensions 210.6×127.7×7.9mm and weighs 360 grams. It also comes with a sandblasted, aircraft-grade aluminum shell that adds to its durability. The Honor T1 tablet is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz  Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor. The tablet comes with 1GB of RAM. The tablet offers 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card. The Huawei T1 has floating video feature enables users to simultaneously watch movies and do their task. The tablet sports a 5-megapixel camera at the back and there is also a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for making video calls. The Huawei Honor T1 tablet packs a 4800mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 300 hours of standby time. Connectivity features of the Huawei Honor T1 Tablet include voice calling, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G.
