How to Block or Disable all Facebook Apps or Websites

Among the most popular social networking sites Facebook is one, which helps us to keep in touch with our friends, relative and co-workers. But there are many apps or websites that are associated with your Facebook account and performing actions. When you open your Facebook account you can see very annoying app requests in your timeline. If you seriously want to remove the apps or Web sites, which are linked with your Facebook account, the blog will help you a lot. You have to follow some easy and simple steps to disable these apps or websites.
But before you start you should know, by disabling the apps you may lose information about the apps, which can’t be recovered. You will not be able to access your favorite games on Facebook and your friends will not be able to interact and share with you using apps and websites. If you still think to disable the apps or websites then you can follow the below steps.
How to block or disable all Facebook apps:

  1. Go to Facebook and Log in to your account, if you are using mobile device to access the net , make sure that you enabled full version of the site, because the menu options are not available in mobile version.
  2. Go to the upper right-hand corner and click on the down arrow located beside Home.
  3. Click on Privacy settings.
  4. Beside the Ads, Apps, and Websites section, click on Edit Settings.
  5. Click the link that says Turn off your ability to use apps, plug-ins, and websites on and off Facebook.
  6. Facebook warns that turning off this platform results in the following:
    • You will not be able to log into websites or applications using Facebook.
    • Your friends won’t be able to interact and share with you using apps and websites.
    • Instant personalization will also be turned off.
  7. If you don’t want to access other sites using Facebook, click on Turn Off Platform.
  8. You are done! Now you should be free of annoying apps.

By following the above steps, you can also keep your information safe from Web sites that attempt to collect them while you’re logged into Facebook.
