The previous night was of course a soothing period for the HTC lovers since the manufacturer officially unveiled the much awaited HTC One M8 and as per the previous claims the new Flagship accompanies a Google Play Edition. Prior to this the Standard HTC One M8 is already being carried by several American, British *& Canadian Operators and seems the Google Play Edition is also equally treated after its release. Reports convey that the flagship is already available in selected stores in UK, US & Canada for purchase.
As a first step to confront the rivals like Sony, Samsung and others, HTC announced that users can grab the handset after placing their orders at 230 operators across the globe starting from today. Since Google Play Edition of the device is already available in Play Store, so you can put it into cart right now at a considerable price tag of $699.
And if you are a user living in the United States, then you can place your orders online at any of the biggest carries i.e. AT&T & Sprint. Unfortunately, T Mobile has yet not got the device in hands and is expected to carry the handset starting from sometime the following month. Other carriers apart from these three such as Net10 and Cincinnati Bell Wireless are supposed to start offering the handset from next month onwards.
Returning to the hardware and specifications of the device, we would like to inform you that the HTC One M8 seems too identical to the Standard model since it packs a 1080p 5.0-inch Super LCD3 display, powered by a quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, supports 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB storage (can be extended using a microSD card), packs a 2,600 mAh battery, a 5 MP secondary camera, and one Dual 4 MP UltraPixel primary rear camera. For OS, the device runs the stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat and hence is supposed to perform well in camera credentials.
So, now you have to decide if you are going for the HTC One M8 Google Play Edition or the Standard model. Let us know for sure what would be a better choice for you?
