Kia planning to lunch four Cars in India in 2020

Kia, the South Korean Car Manufacturer, also a sister concern of Hyundai is planning to lunch four cars in India this year. With a SP Concept-based SUV, the company is planning to enter the Indian market in September 2019 and in the second half of 2020 it will be lunching another SP-Concept based SUV. Another couple of models of the company will also be lunched in the same year.

“We believe in bringing more and more business to India and making India a Global Manufacturing Hub. For KIA project, We are targeting to reach Tier II and Tier III automotive suppliers specially from small cities, which will support KIA to make cost effective products without compromising on quality. We will get to see 4 models of KIA in India,” said Vishal Jadhav, president of Crescendo Worldwide confirming the lunch of the four new models in the Indian market.

The manufacturer is also in plan to assemble and manufacture its cars in India. Of course there is no confirmation about the product lunch schedule of the cars in the Indian market. But it’s heard that the four cars will be lunched parallely. The company is also in search of right suppliers in the country who can properly take care of the distribution of cars. Kia is also planning to start production of cars in August 2019 at its facility at AP.

While Kia is one of the most popular car manufacturers across the globe, it needs to be seen how much market share it will bag in the Indian market.
