LG bades Good Bye to Smartphone World, But promises Android Updates to its Phones

Hello LG Smartphone lovers! Good news for you. Of late LG has officially announced three guaranteed Android updates for its premium phones, basically the ones launched after 2019 and comes under the G Series, V Series along with  last year’s Velvet and Wing flagships.

Earlier this week LG confirmed its exit from the Smartphone market, with the company announcing winding up operations by the end of July. During announcement, the company had promised to push updates to its current phones, but had not told anything in particular. But the recent press release has revealed a lot about the upcoming updates from the company.

Now that’s what a pretty good news for the LG Smartphone owners. Though the company will no longer sell phones, but their devices will continue to get updates and fixes. For the mid range K-Series and LG Stylo, the company has committed to push two updates.

Besides, LG also informs that it will keep manufacturing Smartphone until the second quarter of 2021 to meet its contracts with partners and carriers. So if you are a LG lover and planning to purchase a phone, then you might think of getting the Velvet or Wing Smartphones as these will be available for decent bargain the coming weeks.
