Next Generation Hyundai Verna spotted

Verna as a Sedan class car has not only brought immense popularity and success to the manufacturer, but has created a special craze among the users for its chic outlook, valiant features and powerful specs. While for pretty long time the users had not seen any new avatar of the popular sedan, they will be happy to know that a reformed and superior class next generation Verna is soon going to be launched in the Indian market. The Next generation Hyundai Verna is pretty stylish and sexy than the current model.

Concept car for the next generation Hyundai Verna was first showcased at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show and from then the Engineers at Hyundai were busy making it market ready. Whilst the car is fully furnished now and is scheduled for mid-2017 release, lately the car was spotted at a showroom warehouse before its launch. Guess, how the car must be looking! Fully furnished and all ready to step into the market. The car in the warehouse was spotted with proper badging and without any camouflage, thereby meaning that it’s all ready for use.

Of course, the car is a lot changed than how it was showcased in the concept design and most of these changes are limited to the exterior design. The overall design and silhouette of the car to many extent remains similar to the concept car, but still many changes are marked. Few changes like the gaudy diamond like pattern in the concept car is replaced with large hexagonal grille and the sleeker headlamps in the concept design are replaced with a larger wrapped cluster with black accents and LED lamps. While compared to the concept car, the bumper has been toned down a little and now the car looks somehow sleeker with large inlets replaced to horizontal air intakes.

Now moving to the overall measurement of the Next Generation Hyundai Verna, the car measures 4,380 mm in length, 1,728 mm in width and 1,460 mm in height. Further it carries the 2,600 mm wheelbase. The car looks quite similar to the concept version from side view, but what you will find different in look is the wheels that looks less sporty in comparison to the former. Rear side of the car is jam packed sleek by tail lamps, large boot lid, and well-sculpted bumper. Other major changes that will be found in the upgraded version are chrome door handles, one sunroof, new alloy wheels and ORVMs with integrated turn indicators.

So when it comes to performance, the New Hyundai Verna will carry 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol engines with 100bhp and 123bhp power performance respectively. The car will be available with the same engines in both India and global markets. We don’t have enough data on the other specs and features.
