Bajaj to bring two new Children to its V family

Bajaj, the Pune based Motorcycle manufacturing company started its V family with the recently launched Bajaj V 15 which has already created much hullabaloo in the market and has grabbed good bit of market share. The Bajaj V 15 which is associated patriotically with the decommissioned INS Vikrant warship and adheres unconventional styling has become the most sought out options for purchaser of commuters who prioritize on style and substance. During its sort span of launching, the Bajaj V 15 has stood to be one of the lead choices for the Commuter lovers.

So now this is what tempted the Pune based manufacturer to plan two new siblings for its V family. Of course the siblings will be new to the bajaj family, but will be more powerful, well designed and will carry superior features to stand a feet ahead of the predecessor. Yes, Bajaj is already on track preparing the launch of this two motorcycles, one to be launched by November this year and the other just three months later, I mean in February 2017.

Confirming the news, the Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, Mr. Rajiv Bajaj said “The second (motorcycle) will come sometime around November which will hopefully be an equal or bigger success than V15. Then I will give it another six months, which means the third will be out around May-June 2017.” Well, this is something the Commuter lovers will definitely love to hear. Purpose of this extension is to share a healthy share of Commuter market, as informed by Mr. Bajaj.

Now going back to the Bajaj V 15, the commuter has become immensely popular among the users since launch with Mr. Perfectionist of B-Town Amir Khan purchasing one. So this is a good sign for the manufacturer to keep good pace with leading market share holders in Commuter market i.e. Honda, hero Motocop and TVS with some of its revamped, improvised V Series bikes. Still now Bajaj struggles to get space in the Commuter market as it gets a share of only 40000 commuters out of the total 6 lakh Units sold every year, which is only 6-7% of the total. So the V Series Commuters seem to be a good lead for Bajaj to stand ahead in market.

Now you must wonder what special features & specs Bajaj would incorporate in its upcoming V family motorcycles! Of course we are not aware as the company has revealed nothing particular on it. But it might incorporate more powerful 180 or 200cc DTS-i engines from the Pulsar family with superior torque. But one thing is sure that it will still keep its INS Vikrant association intact in all of its forthcoming Commuters of V 15.

Other details on the specs and features are supposed to get revealed once the Pulsar CS 400 goes on sale this quarter. So keep visiting BlogZamana to get further updates.
