Ninja H2R, the forthcoming Superbike from Kawasaki

After teasing the bike community for some time, now Kawasaki has finally taken the wraps off the much anticipated Kawasaki Ninja H2R at INTERMOT 2014 at Cologne, Germany. Kawasaki Ninja H2r is the result of a joint effort by various divisions of Kawasaki industries to create one of the most advanced and the craziest superbikes in existence. Nothing could stand against it. The racing H2R version of the triple now gives its name to the 300-horse Kawasaki at the INTERMOT 2014. Kawasaki knows that strong identity is centre to success in future.

Kawasaki’s press release makes it clear that the new Ninja H2r is not that regular slow steering, power-laden straight-liner rather its engine is a compact design similar to power units found in the super sport category. The body is designed by Kawasaki’s aerospace division and bears the retro Kawasaki River Mark Logo. The main highlight of the bike is its 998 cc supercharged engine which will produce 300 bhp, which is about 30 bhp more than Marc Marquez’s championship leading MotoGP bike.

The engine is designed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries Gas Turbine Division. The Kawasaki Ninja H2R will most likely get Brembo monobloc brakes, single sided swing arm, slick tyres, fully adjustable KYB suspension, ABS and traction control system. The Ninja H2R is a showcase of craftsmanship, build quality and superb fit and finish, right down to its high-tech mirror-finish black chrome paint which was specially developed for this model.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2R is set to be the highest-power production motorcycle ever produced which is likely to be available in very limited number, at a very high price which will beat its own Kawasaki ZX-14R and it has been expected that the road – going H2R will borrow many feature from its stable mate. The Kawasaki Ninja H2R is expected to be produced in limited numbers and will carry an exorbitant price tag to match its power rating.
