Apple is known for its uniqueness and the ability to capture the market. If rumors are to be believed, the Cupertino based tech major is about to bring a life changing device which will likely be called the Apple AI pin.
The device will be as small as the Apple AirTag and will use AI to provide information to the wearer. If rumors are true then it will be the first ever AI wearable, it will come integrated with Siri.
What is the Apple AI pin
The device will have a simple structure. It will be a pin that users can wear on their clothing. It is likely that the device will be equipped with two cameras and three microphones.
This development came after, OpenAI’s Chris Lehane on stage at Axios House in Davos said that, the company is “on track” to unveil its first device in the second half of 2026. However if leaks are to be believed the AI pin of Apple is likely run on the new Siri chatbot.
Another topic of discussion is will the AI pin be launched as it is or will it be bundled with some other device. Several tipsters have shared several varying ideas. A few say that it will be sold as it is and some others say that it will be bundled along with another iPhone, smart glasses or some other such device.
Google Gemini powered Siri AI
Apple users will get a Google Gemini powered Siri AI. To simply explain the matter, the soon to be introduced AI powered Siri in Apple devices will use resources from Google Gemini.
It is worth mentioning here that, Apple and Google have issued a joint statement in this regard. The tech majors have entered into a multi-year collaboration under which the next generation of Apple Foundation Models will be based on Google’s Gemini models and cloud technology.
Further the collaboration, will help power future Apple Intelligence features, including a more personalized Siri that is rumored to be rolling out this year.
After careful evaluation, Apple determined that Google’s Al technology provides the most capable foundation for Apple Foundation Models. The Cupertino based tech giant is excited about the innovative new experiences it will unlock for Apple users. Apple Intelligence will continue to run on Apple devices and Private Cloud Compute, while maintaining Apple’s industry-leading privacy standards.
