Oppo has launched its new smartphone R7s. The smartphone has good display and promises performance with great hardware.
Display & Battery
The new device boasts a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Amoled display. For the prevention of scratches, the display comes guarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone has itself powered by a 3070mAh battery. The battery is said to be Non removable.
Software & Hardware
The smartphone performs with the Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorOS 2.1 skin on top. Oppo has definitely upped the ante in R7s hardware area. The smartphone relies on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor for its function. The presence of 4GB RAM has definitely accentuated this product. You can do wonders with this sort of hardware. You will able to do your tasks in no time. It is supported by Adreno 405 GPU. The more the merrier. The smartphone has also got adequate storage with 32GB of inbuilt storage. You will get to upgrade it upto a maximum of 128GB via Micro SD card. Proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and gyroscope are the sensors which make their presence in the device.
Connectivity & Camera
The smartphone offers supports LTE bands in India. The connectivity features of this device include 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, USB OTG and Micro-USB. The handset offered support for Dual SIMs for more convenience. It sports a hybrid SIM slot that has the capability to support a Micro-SIM and a Nano-SIM card. The slot can also be used for a Micro SD card by replacing the SIM.
The features of the cameras offered by the handset also seem to be best in class. The smartphone comes feature with a 8-megapixel selfie cam i.e the front facing shooter. I need not explain why I called it a selfie cam. You must be aware of the obvious reasons. It also sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash to light up images in low light and indoors.
Special Features
The battery is bolstered by the VOOC flash charging technology. According to the company, if you can charge this device at least for 5 minutes, you can enjoy 2 hours of talktime. Isn’t this amazing? Whenever you are in a hurry to talk to someone, just plug in and do what you wished for.
Pricing & Availability
The pricing of the Oppo R7s has not been out yet. The R7s will be up for grabs first in Australia followed by countries like Taiwan, Singapore and many more. As for the launch in India, there is no official statement from the company.
