Tata motors which is known for making tough SUVs launched an all new Multi-Utility -Vehicle (MUV) Tata Movus priced at INR 6.99 lacs(Base model). The exterior and interior design is similar to Tata Sumo Grande but it costs you lesser . It is a available with different seating options like side facing ,front facing and captain seats in the 7,8 and 9-seater variants.
Tata Movus is equipped with a VARICOR 2.2-litre, turbo-diesel engine which has been used in Tata Safari Storme ,Tata Sumo Grande and Tata Aria gives superior performance. Variable Turbine Technology (VTT) incorporated in the turbocharger generates a higher air density at low engine speeds, allowing a greater input of fuel for the same air-fuel ratio, thus increasing power while making engines more fuel-efficient and cleaner burning.
The engine produces 118.35 bhp power and 250 N-m of torque. Power is delivered to the front wheels with 5-speed manual transmission. It has fully electronic fuel injection which helps in delivering high power and torque . Maintenance of the car is low too since it features Hydraulic lash adjusters and roller finger followers. These also reduce the noise produced by vibrations.
