Twitter: New Monetization Features “Super Follows and Ticketed Spaces” Launched

Twitter, the US microblogging platform, has begun accepting applications for its two new monetization features – Super Follows and Ticketed Spaces.

“Today, we’re promoting apps that will be part of the SuperFollow and Ticket Space testing group and sharing how people can earn up to 97% of these features after earning an in-app purchase fee,” said Esther Crawford, The senior product manager in a tweet.

Super Follow is a service that allows the creator to pay $ 2.99, $ 4.99, or $ 9.99 per month for entrée to unique content. Ticket spaces, alternatively, permit developers to create custom audio rooms for Twitter’s only audio platform, Spaces. According to the company, tickets can range from $ 1 to $ 999. Features are open to a “small group” of current users.

You can earn up to 97% of your income by buying space tickets and subscribing to super followers. If your product doesn’t have more than $ 50,000 in revenue, Twitter is no more than 3%. The company said in a blog post that it would increase its share of future revenue by 20% on Twitter. Although 97% of sales do not include platform fees that Apple and Google purchase through their purchases, they are accepting a commission for the app store.

The super follows and ticketed spaces are the collaboration features expected on Twitter this year. The company, which is fighting regulatory sanctions in India, announced the move at an investor conference earlier this year.

Submission for Ticketed Spaces and Super Follows will be accessible throughout the sidebar on users’ accounts. Currently, only available in the United States and the rest will get sooner.
