Update Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G with Android 11 N981U1UES2DUD5 Firmware

Here in this article download the Samsung firmware for the Galaxy Note 20 5G SM-N981U1 with product code USC for USA. This firmware has version number N981U1UES2DUD5. The operating system of this firmware is Android 11. Several other countries have received the firmware update.

  • Download Odin3-v3.14.4.zip file keep in PC
  • Download Galaxy Note 20 5G SM-N981U1 USC N981U1UES2DUD5 firmware keep in PC

Tutorial to Update Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G with Android 11 N981U1UES2DUD5 Firmware

Download Galaxy Note 20 5G SM-N981U1 USC N981U1UES2DUD5 firmware. Then extract the firmware file you just downloaded in your PC. You should get 5 files.

AP (System &Recovery)

BL (Bootloader)

CP (Modem / Radio)

CSC_*** (Country / Region / Operator)

HOME_CSC_*** (Country / Region / Operator)

 

  1. Now add each file to its relevant field in Odin v3.14.4. If you want to do a clean flash than Use CSC_*** or if you want to keep your apps and data then add in HOME_CSC_***.
  2. Switch off the device and then reboot your phone in Download / Odin mode pressing the POWER + VOLUME DOWN + BIXBY

3.If the above options did not work then try 5 more method by pressing;

VOLUME DOWN + VOLUME UP then USB cable

POWER + VOLUME DOWN + VOLUME UP

POWER + VOLUME DOWN + HOME BUTTON

(Note9) USB cable + VOLUME DOWN + BIXBY

(Note10) POWER + VOLUME UP

 

4. Once you are in download mode than connect your phone to the PC, if possible use the original USB cable you got with your phone.

5.A BLUE box will show up with the COM port number when the Odin gets detected in your device.

6. Make sure you don’t tick any extra boxes. The only options to be ticked are F.Reset Time and Auto-Reboot only.

7. After that click on the start button, wait for Odin to say ‘PASS‘ in a GREEN box.

8.Once the flash is completed then your phone will reboot and then disconnect your phone from the PC

9. Now again go to ODIN in PC and there you get AP (System &Recovery) get Extract the firmware file you just downloaded. You should get 1 file MD5-file in AP-field in Odin and add that.

10. Reboot your phone in Download mode by pressing the POWER + VOLUME DOWN + BIXBY

11. Once you are in download mode than connect your phone to the PC, if possible use the original USB cable you got with your phone.

12. A BLUE box will show up with the COM port number when the Odin gets detected in your device.

13. Make sure you don’t tick any extra boxes. The only options to be ticked are F.Reset Time and Auto-Reboot only.

14. After that click on the start button, wait for Odin to say ‘PASS‘ in a GREEN box.

Wonderful Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G has successfully updated with Android 11 N981U1UES2DUD5 Firmware. Now use variety of apps with higher android version.
