Your Android Smartphone gets Maximum Malware from Google Play Store

Well, this might be somehow shocking! Because whenever matter comes to find an antivirus for your Mobile phone, the first idea comes to mind is Google Play Store. You instantly search through the Google Play Store to find a malware scanner for your Android Smartphones because we assume it’s best for safety and security. And you install an app from the search history with the highest rating to scan your device. But will you believe if we say that the maximum malware and virus comes to your device from one place and i.e. the Google Play Store?

This has been certified by a research recently made by the American Software company NortonLifeLock and Spanish software organisation IMDEE whose joint report conveys that Google Play Store is the biggest source to carry virus to your Smartphone. The joint report of both these companies convey that third party apps are responsible for carrying malware only to 4 percent Android devices. Similarly, 87.2 percent apps are only downloaded from Google Play Store out of which 67.5 percent apps are malware infected.

This servery further reports that the policy to publish apps to Google Play Store is not strict and hence apps with malware are permitted to get published on the store. But now it’s to be seen how Google reacts to this research report.
