Samsung has launched the Notebook 9 laptop with two new models. The laptops are designed with magnesium alloy and sport backlit keyboards and a 1.5mm of key travel. DISPLAY & DESIGN
Both of the Samsung Notebook 9 models sport 1080p displays. e Samsung Notebook 9 will be available in two sizes 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch. These laptops not only offer great display and look but also are very slim and light. You can carry these anywhere with ease .The 13.3-inch variant is 13.4mm thin and weighs 0.84kg, while the 15.6-inch model is 14.5mm thick and weighs 1.29kg.
BATTERY
Well, you may be impressed with the design and display but you have to compromise on the battery backup of these devices. We all know that Samsung laptops feature good batteries, you will get disappointed here. The 13.3-inch variant is backed by a 30Wh battery, which has a life of up to 10 hours on single charge. The 15.6-inch version is powered by a 39Wh battery. This battery will last up to 12 hours on single charge and the good thing is that the device supports quick charging that can load the battery completely in just 20 minutes.
HARDWARE
The hardware features of both the laptops are same. The Samsung Notebook 9 laptops are powered by Intel Skylake-U series processors. You can take home wither a 4GB of RAM or a 8GB of RAM fitted device. On the storage front, you get to grab between 128GB SSD to 256GB SSD. Both the laptops work on Windows 10out-of-the-box.
CONNECTIVITY
The laptops come with a host of connectivity options like a 720p webcam, two USB 3.0 ports, mini Ethernet, micro HDMI, mini VGA, a 3-in-1 card slot, and a combo headphone jack. Apart from all these options, you will find a USB 3.1 Type-C connector available in the 15.6 inch Notebook Variant .
SPECIAL FEATURES
The laptops and loaded with Samsung Link 2.0 and SideSync 4.0 that enable you to access shareable content in a hassle free way. There are many security and privacy options in these laptops. If your device gets stolen, the new security feature Security CAM will click and send photos with the camera to a pre-registered email. You will also get features like secret screen, Pattern Log-in, and Record Block features, which can very handy is guarding your privacy.
