First you have to enable the developer option in your Smartphone by following the steps:

  • Go to settings option in your Samsung Smartphone then tap on the “About phone” option
  • Now go to software information then tap on it 7 times so that the build number option is visible
  • Then go back to the main setting page again after that you will get the developer option in the setting of your Smartphone device
  • Then open the developer option and toggle the button OEM unlock

How to unlock bootloader on Samsung Galaxy phone using ADB and fastboot (with PC)

First you need a PC to unlock the bootloader with this ADB and fastboot method it is bit complicated so carefully wash the steps the steps:

  1. Primarily you need to enable the developer option and OEM unlock explained in above method
  2. Now you have to turn on the USB debugging and the developer option when connected to your device to the computer
  3. Then download and install the ADB and fastboot tool on your PC or laptop whatever you are using
  4. After that connect to your Samsung Smartphone to the computer via USB cable
  5. Once the phone is connected to the PC turn off the phone and boot into fastboot mode this is done by pressing the volume down and power button and do not release the button and unless until the fastboot mode screen is appeared on the screen

How to open command window in two steps; to do that press shift key + right Mouse click on the empty area and then select the command window it will open then type “CMD” on the search box and entered to open CMD.

adb devices

You will have a popup where you have to allow USB debugging on your phone, just tap on it then ok button type the command below and press enter

ADB reboot bootloader

Now your phone rebooted to bootloader mode where you check if your phone is showing a lock bootloader or not if yes then type the command given below and presses enter

fastboot device

Again press enter you will see some random string which is ready for the procedure to type the next command

fastboot oem unlock

Then press enter the command will unlock the Smartphone bootloader next type the command

fastboot reboot
