Suzuki has launched a brand new scooter the Avenis Standard Editon in India. The company has launched this scooter post launching of the its previous two editions the Ride Connect, and Suzuki Avenis Race Edition. The scooter will be available at a price of Rs. 86,500 in India. This scooter will be sold along with the Suzuki Access 125 and the Suzuki Burgman Street. The scooter will be available in four colour variants i.e Grey/Green, Orange/Black, Black, and White/Grey. The scooter is bit cheaper in comparison to the previous two editions.
Expressing his views on the launch of the two new scooters, Satoshi Uchida, MD, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are thankful to our customers for the response that Avenis has received in the Indian market. It turned out to be true as we got phenomenal responses from the customers for Avenis. In fact, today Avenis has become one of the high selling products from the house of Suzuki Motorcycle India. The introduction of the Standard Edition of Avenis is an effort from the company to provide Gen Z customers with more options to choose from.”
Coming to the features and specs of the new Suzuki Avenis Standard Edition, the Scooter is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected motor which can churn out 8.6 bhp power along with 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of peak torque @ 5,500 rpm. The scooter weighs 106 kg and it uses a single shock at the rear and telescopic forks at the front.
In terms of design, the Suzuki Avenis Standard Edition is almost equal to the Avenis Ride Connect Edition. The scooter has the same sporty look with a dynamic front apron, trapezoidal headlamps, turn indicators placed in the handlebar cowl with a small fly screen. The rear sports twin LED taillights with motorcycle-inspired turn indicators.
