India Post recruitment 2022: Latest notification released, Salary as per 7th pay commission

A new recruitment notice for job vacancies has been released by India Post. Qualified applicants who are interested in the position of Technical Supervisor may submit their applications before September 19, 2022. The 7th Central Pay Commission’s compensation scale will apply to the salary of the chosen candidates, i.e., Rs 35400-Rs 112400. Applicants must not be younger than 22 or older than 30 as of July 1, 2018. There will be slight ease for the deserving candidates.

The notification said, “It is proposed to fill up four vacancies of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) (General Central Services, Gr.C, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) for the year 2021 in the pay matrix Level-02 as per 7th CPC in the office of Manager, Mail Motor Service, Good shed Road, Coimbatore 641001 on Deputation/ Absorption in other Ministries/ Deputation or reemployment of Armed Forces Personnel.” It further added, “The post is unreserved and a successful candidate is likely to be posted to any place within West Bengal Circle and throughout India in the interest of service,”

Educational Qualifications

• A Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering from any recognized institution.
• Practical experience in an automobile firm of repute or in a Government Workshop of two years. OR
• Passed Matriculation Examination or possessing an equivalent qualification with practical experience of at least five years in some factory or workshop

Selection Procedure

Competitive Trade Tests shall be the mode to make the selection. The eligible candidates will receive separate notifications regarding the test day and venue. No notification will be provided to those candidates who are considered to be unsuitable in accordance to the mentioned criteria.
