While the CES 2014 is making around the corner, almost all leading electronic products manufacturers are trying their best to introduce their finest products into the market and Acer is no way back in the trend. One such instance of craze also we witnessed in Acer when the techno major announced a couple of Android Tablets, the Acer Iconia A1-830 & the Iconia B1-720 to hit the market in this January. While two of these devices seem to be worthy of cost as we explore their technical specs, in the meantime also thought it important to showcase a glimpse of the same before you. So, let’s have a look on the same!
First of all, let’s have a look on both the Iconia series tablets, the series that people have fallen in love with. The Iconia A1-830 is 7.9 inch tablet that supports 768×1024 pixels resolution and with aluminum back looks first-rate between the two. The device runs on the popular Android 4.2.1 OS and is powered by a a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom Clover Trail+ Z2560 processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB in-built storage space which can further be expanded to 32GB via a microSD card. The device too hosts multiple cameras, a 5MP rear camera with 1080p video recording capability and one 1.5 front camera with 720p video recording potential. The company claims that the device will provide up to 7 hours of standby time. It costs almost $179 i.e. about 11, 200 in Indian rupee.
On the other hand, the Acer Iconia B1-720 little resembles to the other tablet in features and also costs little less. It costs almost $129 (around Rs. 8,000) and is supposed to hit the floors in the later part of this month. The device too runs on the Android 4.2.1 jelly Bean OS and packs a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8111 processor with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of in-built storage space with expandable 32GB memory feature. Apart, it supports a 7 inch One Glass Solution display with unknown resolution and supports only one camera i.e. in the front and too with unknown pixels. The device is supposed to hit the North American markets in January.
While both these tablets are targeted for January release, we would definitely wait to enumerate their market share once they hit the floor. But what about you guys? Are you also ready for the same? Do you have anything to share on the concerned topic? Then feel free to share here.
