Just recently we had informed you about a couple of tablets that the techno giant Acer announced to launch this January & now we have another fabulous news for the Acer lovers. In fact, the manufacturer has also announced to launch its latest budget-friendly Android Smartphone, the Liquid Z5 phone mid-January this year in a number of countries including France, Spain, UK, Germany & Portugal. We call the device budget-friendly because it will cost around $230 or almost 14,300 in Indian rupee.
However, we don’t have info on the complete specs and features of the device since the manufacturer has not revealed the same. But what info we do have, the Smartphone is going to sport a 5 inch display with unknown resolution and will run the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The device will be powered by a dual-core 1.3GHz processor with 4GB of in-built storage space. However, there is no further report on the other hardcore specs and features of the device that the users generally search for, apart from the camera.
But one thing the manufacturer has done well after giving details on the duo cameras of the device since everyone always looks for the option. Reportedly, the device packs a 5MP rear camera with BSI sensor and other features such as an IR filter and an HDR option. Also the company claims that the camera supports a five lens feature that allows the user to capture crystal clear pics even in low-light conditions. Besides, the device packs the notable floating app feature that allows the extra application windows to overlay, thereby making place for superior multi-tasking. Due to this float UI, the users will be able to access eight float apps including the caller, maps, camera, notes and calculator easily.
Among other features, the Smartphone packs WiFi, GPS connectivity options, the DTS sound technology for the speaker in front, and Quick Mode profiles for users belonging to different age group. We think the device will be handy as it measures 145.5 x 73.5 x 8.8mm and weighs only 147 grams. It will be made available in the market in multiple colors i.e. White and Grey. It’s supposed to the hit the markets in the Q2 of this month. So, let the fingers crossed!
