Android 12 New Feature: “Safety & Emergency” Menu add in one place

In case of emergency, Smartphones allow us to be constantly connected, which makes them a basic tool. Google wants to take advantage of Android 12 by promoting some of its key features. A new “Safety and Emergency” section has been added to the Settings menu. This menu gives you instant access to your most important data and a direct link to Pixel Personal Safety.

The Android 12 new feature menu reveals all its personal information, including medical history, blood type and more. You can also include emergency response to the alert you receive in case of an emergency. Car Accident Detection – the only feature of Pixel. This feature allows you to find out if your phone has been involved in a car accident. Emergency alerts warn you of natural catastrophe and community events in your area. Finally, here you can also control the settings of emergency calls of SOS, a function started by the developer before resting in beta 1. Emergency SOS lets you call 911 (U.S.) or 100 (India) faster by simply pressing the power button five times.

Google released Android 12 Beta 2 for pixel and non-pixel devices were, Google changed the configuration menu, added an SOS icon, and introduced several options.  The application contains services not available in this menu so you can’t access them from there. Security reviews and emergency sharing are also prohibited.

For Pixel devices powered by Android 12 Beta, all the information in the “Safety and emergency” menu that is added in one place is full of self-defence. I’m not sure if one or all of these features will be present in every phone after the confirmation of Android 12 later this year. You can rely on any protection for any components introduced into the operating system. But it’s good to see it as an important source of information.
