Apple rolls out iOS 8.2 with Apple watch support

Apple has started rolling out the iOS 8.2 update to iPad, iPhone and the iPod touch. The iOS 8.2 brings Apple watch support,bring more security, has many stability improvements and bug fixes.

With iOS 8.2 the Apple Watch support will arrive oniPhone 5 and the later phones. The OS comes with a new iPhone app called Apple Watch that will enable users pair and sync their Watch with an iPhone. The iOS 8.2 update also brings a new Activity app to view fitness data and achievements from Apple Watch. This appears when the Apple Watch is paired. There also improvements in the Health app. It gives users the ability to select the unit of measurements, add and visualise workout sessions from third-party apps. There are many stability improvements and bug fixes in the health app. The health app now features a a privacy setting that enables turning off tracking of steps, distance and flights climbed.

 iOS 8.2 arrives with several stability improvements in Mail, Flyover in Maps, Music, VoiceOver reliability, and connectivity for Made for iPhone Hearing Aids. Apple’s iOS 8.2 update has also come with more security  for your devices.

There are many Bug fixes in the iOS 8.2. The issue in Maps that prevented navigating to some favorite locations has been fixed , the issue where duplicate iTunes purchased content could prevent iCloud restore from completing has been fixed,  also fixes issues where some music or playlists didn’t sync from iTunes to the Music app, the OS fixes a issue in Bluetooth calling  where no audio is heard until the call is answered. Apart from these there are a lot of fixes which will definitely give better experience to the users.

 The iOS 8.2 update is now available for download for the the iPad 2 and later models, iPhone 4S and later models, the fifth-generation iPod touch and the third-generation Apple TV (v7.1 firmware). Now, developers can download the Xcode 6.2 from the Mac App Store.

Apple has also took the wraps off its new fanless Macbook. It is the first fanless Macbook. It sports a 12-inch Retina-class screen with a resolution of 2304×1440 pixels. The screen is 0.88mm thin. The new MacBook is powered by Intel Core M processors. The Macbook will be offered in two models- one will be powered by a 1.1GHz Pentium M and 256GB of internal storage, and  the second one will feature a 1.2GHz Pentium M and 512GB of internal storage. The two variants will feature 8GB of RAM and integrated Intel HD 5300 graphics.
