Asus Zenbook UX305 laptop makes its debut in India. Asus claims that this is the “world’s slimmest 13.3-inch QHD+ ultraportable laptop.” The Zenbook has been priced at Rs. 49,999 . The Zenbook UX305 can be purchased via online retailer flipkart and Asus exclusive stores. The laptop will be offered in Obsidian Stone colour variant with the Asus’s spun-metal finish and concentric circle pattern.
The Asus Zenbook features a 13.3-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution LED-backlit display. The laptop comes with a thickness of 12.3mm and according to the firm the laptop’s thermal management design and IceCool technology prevents it from getting hot during heavy usage. It is powered by Intel Core M-5Y10 Processor (4MB cache, 2 cores, 4 threads, 800MHz base frequency, 2GHz Turbo frequency) . It features 4GB of RAM and comes with Intel HD Graphics 5300. The Asus Zenbook UX305 offer an internal storage of 256GB SATA 3 SSD. The Asus Zenbook is 64-bit Windows 8.1-based ultraportable laptop
Speaking on the connectivity, the Asus Zenbook UX305 sports total of three USB 3.0 ports with one of the ports supporting Asus Charger+ technology for quick recharging of mobile devices,a SDXC card reader slot, a Micro-HDMI v1.4 port and a headphone and audio-in combo jack. It features a 3-cell Li-ion Polymer battery. Due to lack of an Ethernet port, a USB-to-Ethernet adapter is being offered with the Zenbook.
