Meizu is planning to launch its first smartphone in India on May 18. The company has posted a teaser about the launch event on its India’s Facebook page. Meizu is all set to compete against Chinese Xiaomi, Oppo, Gionee smartphones in India.
The Meizu m1 Note has a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset measures 150.7×75.2×8.9mm, and weighs 145 grams. The m1 Note is available inGgreen, White, blue, yellow and pink colors. The Meizu m1 Note has been priced at around $220 ( approx Rs 13,800).
The handset is powered by a MediaTek’s octa-core processor along with 2 GB of RAM and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS with the company’s Flyme 4 UI on top. The smartphone offerws 8 / 16 GB of internal memory which can be expandable up to 32 GB.
Connectivity options in the Meizo m1 Note are WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, GPS Dual SIM support and integrated Radio. The sensors inbuilt in the smartphone are accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and compass. It packs a 3,140 mAh battery that according to company claims delivers 40 hours of talk time and 60 hours of music play. It has a 13 MP primary camera with features like LED flash, HDR, Face detection and geo tagging . It also has a 5 MP front camera for clicking selfies.
Xiaomi’s new Mi 4i 4G LTE-enabled smartphone is being offered in India through its Flash Sale on Flipkart. The smartphone has been priced at Rs.12,999. The Xiaomi Mi 4i features a unibody polycarbonate build, and has a soft touch matte finish with an anti-grease coating. It sports a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) fully laminated OGS Corning Concore IPS display and has a pixel density of 441ppi. It comes with a Sunlight Display feature that adjusts the display for visibility under bright light. Xiaomi phone comes with Dual SIM and both support 4G LTE connectivity, and the phone is compatible with LTE bands in India. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop.The smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone flash. There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Xiaomi Mi 4 offers non expandable 16GB of inbuilt storage. The Mi 4i is backed by a 3120mAh battery.
