Be Aware, WhatsApp ‘Black Dot’ Bug might crash your Device at anytime

The Facebook owned WhatsApp Android app is now in problem as a crashing bug named WhatsApp ‘Black Dot’ is roaming from one account to other and might reach your device at any point of time. So if you get this bug on your device via WhatsApp, then ensure not to click it, else your Android even your entire Android device might crash.

According to Slashgear, “As with any message bomb, it involves sending and receiving a specially crafted message with hidden symbols in between spaces. Tapping on a portion of the text will basically make the app ‘expand’ the hidden symbols, potentially overloading the app and even the OS.”

These destructive massages, otherwise known as Message Bombs are not limited to Android only and iMessages are also highly addictive to such messages and even can destroy your device.

The report further adds, two variants of the WhatsApp message seems to being forwarded. One with an ominous black dot which accompanies the warning of consequence and insists not to click on it, yet the curious ones hesitate not to click.

The other type however doesn’t carry any warning and looks more decent to be clicked. But ultimately destroys your device. Some special hidden characters are used in this message which is not visible and is used to change text behavior. More the amount of such characters, WhatsApp is more vulnerable to freeze.
