WhatsApp always bags rave reviews for introducing new features every year and 2018 is no way apart. Yes, soon Facebook is rolling the Group Video Call feature in its forthcoming update. The new feature is about to be introduced only for the Android OS users now. This feature was in the wish list of WhatsApp users for many days and was much demanded by users. But unfortunately this feature will not now be available for the iOS users still it’s not made available for the Android users. This feature of WhatsApp was first spotted by Prolific WhatsApp early beta release watcher WABetaInfo and it claims that the Android version 2.18.39 update will get the said WhatsApp feature.
The WhatsApp Group Video Call feature will undoubtedly be much appreciated by the users and as demands WABetaInfo, the feature will get an all new button using which the users can add participants to the group call. Every user can add up to three participants in a group video call. That means a maximum of four person can be there in a Group Video Calling. WABetaInfo claims that this feature is already being rolled to the users via the Android version 2.18.39, but not to all users at this time. So to start a video call, the users need to wait still the update is rolled to everyone. Else, you can’t initiate a video call.

While the previous year WhatsApp had launched many new features that include Share your live location, Deleting Messages for Everyone, and WhatsApp Status, the recent year few more features are in the pipeline. The expected new features are UPI-based payment support, ability to edit sent messages etc. While almost a billion users use WhatsApp every single day, these new features will undoubtedly help WhatsApp to maintain its exiting user’s base.
