Big Breaking: 6 Crore Jio Customers to get Free Calling and Messaging up to 17 April

Jio has announced to provide free calling and messaging for 6 crore Jio customers up to 17 April. They will also be allowed free incoming even if their validity is over. Details here.

The Indian government has locked down the entire country in order to prevent spreading of Coronavirus. With this almost all people have been imprisoned in their homes. Due to lockdown, many people are facing financial crisis and that’s why Jio has introduced a special offer for the JioPhone users. Under this offer, the JioPhone users will get daily 100 minutes of free calling and 100 free SMS till 17 April. With that, the users also will be getting incoming calls even if their validity is over. Before this Airtel also had announced to pay Rs.10 talk time to its  customers. Let’s tell you, Jio has announced this offer for more than 6 crore JioPhone users.

Apart from providing free calling and daily 100 SMS, the company also has launched a number of recharge options which details you can get here. Due to lockdown, if you are not able to go outside for recharge, then you can go to the MyJio app, choose your preferred plan there and can make the recharge. Similarly, if you want to recharge from the official website of Jio, then at first you have to visit the Plan List where choose your preferred plan, then click on Option and then Pay. Immediately your recharge will be done.

If you don’t want to recharge from Mobile or Jio number, then you can make use of mobile apps such as Google Pay, Phone Pay, Amazon, Free Charge, Paytm etc. You will also get cashback for making recharge using these apps.

Recharge through SMS or Call

Apart from official sources and mobile apps, there is also another way to recharge your Jio number. If you are a member of Axis bank then you can recharge your number through SMS. For this, you have to enter go to your message box and type Mobile following your number and then give one space by typing Jio. Here you have to enter the amount you want to recharge and then give one space and type the last six digits of your bank account. Now send the SMS to 9717000002 or 5676782. Then your number will be recharged following by a message from the company.

If you are an ICICI bank customer, then you can also recharge via SMS. For this you have to type MTOPUP following by JIO in your message box and then type your mobile number giving a space. Then give another space and mention the recharge amount. Then add the last six digits of your bank account number. After send the SMS to 9222208888. Within few minutes, your recharge will be successfully done.
