Twitter has redesigned the profile page .You were able to change your profile picture and the header photo, but now you can change the theme colour and also pin a tweet to your homepage in order to get extra attention.
STEPS TO PIN A TWEET
- Open your profile page.
- Click on the 3 dot icon the tweet you want to pin.
- Select Pin to your profile option.
STEPS TO CHANGE THEME COLOR
- Open your profile page.
- Click on edit.
- Choose the theme colour option by clicking on it.
DOWNLOAD YOUR TWEETS
Now you can download all your old tweets you have sent on twitter. You can view your twitter life history .
STEPS TO DOWNLOAD YOUR TWEETS
- Go to Settings menu.
- Click on request your archieve.
- Open your email account which you have mentioned in twitter account.
- Open the link sent by twitter and download the data.
- Unzip and click on index.html .file.
DELETING DIRECT MESSAGES
These are the private messages that you can send to a person whom you follow and who follows you back . If you want to delete the messages then there is a way to delete the message from both your inbox and the inbox of the person you had messaged but if the person has enables notifications by email then he can view your message, so the unsend option doesn’t work here.
STEPS TO UNSEND A MESSAGE
- Open your inbox.
- Select the message you want to unsend.
- Click on the trash can icon that appears nearby.
*If you are using a mobile app then long press and select delete
MUTE ANNOYING USERS
Now you can secretly mute the users who annoy you on twitter with repeated tweets.
STEPS TO MUTE A USER
- Go to the user’s profile whom you want to mute.
- Click on the gear icon.
- Select mute.
