HTC,one of the leading smartphone makers, has revealed the new one mini 2. It is bigger in size, has got a new stylish design and has got many new features compared to the mini 1 which was launched earlier. HTC One mini 2 has HTC BoomSound technology to deliver powerful and crystal clear audio and has HTC Blinkfeed that gets you all the news and updates you want on your home screen.
The HTC one mini 2 incorporates a 1.2 GHz Quad core cortex A7 processor in qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. The graphics requirement of this smartphone is served by the adreno 305 GPU . It has an internal memory space of 16 GB which can be expanded upto 128 GB with a micro SD card.
The HTC mini 2 sports a 4.5 inch capacitive touch screen of 720×1280 pixels resolution, the dimensions are 137x65x10.6mm and it weighs 137 grams. The screen has a layer of gorilla Glass 3 to prevent scratches. It has a 13 MP rear camera with BSI sensor and f/2.2 lens and a 5.0 MP front camera for high quality selfies. It has got good connectivity features like GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 and dual band WI-Fi 802.1n.
It uses the Android Kitkat 4.4.3 operating system. It comes with a host of features like dual front stereo speakers with built in amplifiers, HTML5 browser, FM radio with RDS, GPS , GLONASS, google maps, google talk, photo editor, predictive text input etc. Is possesses a non removable Li-Po 2110 mAh battery which give pretty good talktime(16 hrs) and stand by time(556) on 3G.
It comes with attractive Gunmetal Gray, Amber Gold and Glacial silver colours to choose from. HTC has not yet announced the price for this phone. HTC mini 2 phone is far better than the mini 1 and you can go for this phone when it is launched in the month of June this year.The HTC One mini 2 will be available in EMEA and Asia.
