How to Remove Ads from Chrome or other browsers on Android phone or Tablet

Ads are too much annoying as you know and I know. If you want to get rid of them in your computer or on your Phone or Tablet, then you have come to the right place as you know it’s very easy to install an adblocker on your desktop or laptop through several ad blocking apps.

It is very much easy in Android phones and tablets too. In fact it is even easier with ad blocking built right into some mobile web browsers. There you don’t need to extra download or install Android apps. Ads are downloaded automatically in the web browser and sometimes it makes system slower in your phone. And high up your data bill and they are certain annoying ads present in the web for the survival.

Most of the time you focus in blocking the ads on the web browser and if you are fed up with this ad specifically apps like YouTube which all ask to sign up their premium or ad free. This might be cheaper but is not a solution. If you are seeing ads outside the apps on your phone and observing the same suspicious ad popping up again and again then there is a virus in your phone. Block pop ups and interfering ads in your Chrome

Chrome browser is a by default web browser for all Android phones. This is the best web browser with 90% search accuracy. So we don’t have to ditch Chrome to block the ads rather change the setting to activate the blocking. First open the chrome then tap on three dots on the top right corner. Then hit the setting option and scroll down and look for two key settings that are pop-up and redirects and Ads. Now tap on each and check that the slider is grey. Than text says that pop ups and ads are blocked. The pop-up blocker will block most of the pop up ads that you are using in the web browser whereas the ad setting will only block all the specific sites that show misleading or interfering ads. The trustworthy ads won’t get affected but remove most terrible some ads.

Lite mode app usage  

If you are using Chrome then use the lite mode which is previously called data saver. You will find that in the Chrome setting section where simply toggling to turn on or off. This would save your data but it won’t entirely reduce the ad blocking. There is another disadvantages in design where some elements on certain websites might look little flat and the actual functionality could be affected.

Block ads with another Browser

If you are satisfied with chrome then stick to it, if wanted to ditch it then jump on the other web browsers in your Android. Go for other browsing apps available in Google Play Store such as Opera Browser which is much faster and private or you can go to Adblock  browsers which will block as well as faster app. Samsung users can go for Samsung internet browsers which by defaults allow you to install Adblock extension.

Installing Adblocking App

Installing an adblocking app is a solution that is focused on the web browsers. But it is also possible to block ads anywhere in the Android Google that doesn’t allow system to adblockers . You cannot find that apps anyway in Play Store that doesn’t mean that you cannot trust them. But there are certain apps like Adguard and adlock; both are best developed by cyber security companies.
