The Facebook owned Photo Sharing platform Instagram is one of the most used Social Media Platforms this date. Millions of users are using this platform everyday. But has it ever so happened with you that you by mistake deleted a photo from Instagram and wanted to recover it, but in vein because no such feature is there in the app.
But You would be happy to know that Instagram has recently added this feature. With the rolling of the new update, this new feature will come into force. But the company is rolling the update in segments and has taken to its official blog to announce the new feature.
Once this new feature of Instagram comes into force, the users will be able to recover deleted photos for the last 30 days. You will get the recovery option in the Settings of the app. This feature will work for photos, videos, reels and IGTV.
Best part of the feature is that the users now can recover the stories even. But the maximum restoration period for the stories will be of 24 hours because the stories remain valid for 24 hours only.
Post update, the deleted Photos, Videos, Reels and IGTV videos will be completely deleted from the Instagram timeline and will be stored in the Recently Deleted Folder. If you want to recover any of the deleted stuff, then you can visit this folder and restore within 30 days.
So if you want to enjoy this special feature of Instagram, then you have to first update your app and then go to Settings > Account > Recently Deleted.
